| Some Thoughts On Our Trip – 21 Dec to 23 Dec 2007 On the early flight out from Bristol to Malaga for our 2 night stay in Antequera, because of the informative but friendly emails we had exchanged, we already felt we knew Martin who was to be our guide for the weekend. He was waiting exactly where he said he would be – but he wasn’t expecting to hear what we told him! To cut a long story short, I had picked up my son’s passport instead of my wife’s and despite being checked in both the UK and Spain, we were in Spain and my wife did not have a valid passport to get home. And it was Friday 21 December and extended Christmas office holidays were looming! We didn’t know what Martin had planned for the Friday morning but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t driving us to the British Consul’s office in Malaga. I cannot praise him enough – he was totally focused on making sure that our problem was resolved, irrespective of what that meant to his schedule. Two and a half hours later, and €85 poorer, my wife was the proud owner of an emergency passport and our trip could now begin. The result was that we saw just a few homes on a couple of wonderful parks, but had the time to consider, compare, go back and compare again, check where the sun and shade would be, and generally get to know the homes, the parks and the people in a totally relaxed atmosphere.

21-02-08 What a wonderful time we had on our 2 day viewing trip. Even though we were given all the information we needed during our stay we wish we could have stayed longer. We were really surprised that during our time with you we were not pressured in any way to buy a mobile home, We thank you very much for all the help and information you gave us about the life style in Spain, We found the homes on La Posada to be off a very high standard and the site was beautiful. The residents already living on the Park made us feel so welcome . What a lovely community, please say a huge thank you in particular to Jean and Pete for all those welcome cups of tea and chats. We would certainly recommend anyone thinking of viewing to go with Costa Difference. Peter and I feel it is a case of not if we relocate to Park La Posada but when, As soon as we sort things out here in the UK we will join you out there in Spain. Thank you so much Martin for all the hard work you put into our visit as well as the other things you did for us which you did not have to do so. Please also thank all the staff in the hotel Castilla for their excellent service and for making us so welcome even though we spoke no Spanish.. Pete and Beryl Davies |
